Aloha! Our flight from the frigid east coast dropped us into a heavenly envelope of warmth and humidity. But not without a couple of wrinkles. On the way to the airport, Larry turned to me and said, "Uh oh." I said, "Oh no. What?" "Honey, I forgot the AC-adaptor and mouse for the computer." Eeeek! Oh well, Day 1 in Honolulu will be spent running to Best Buy so we can blog for the rest of the vacation!

The flight was 11 hours. In Business First on Continental, they wine and dine you a couple of times. In between meals, they ply you with fresh-baked chocolate chip cookies, more alcohol, coffee, and a never-ending glass of water. And whatever your concept of airline food is, I am here to tell you that the veal chop was the best I've ever had!

Ya know, we have to check on national events next time we book our vacation. This is the weekend of the Pro Bowl being held Sunday in Honolulu. That's right, NO CAR RENTALS. We are on a wait list for the next available vehicle. Soooo, not only is the computer's battery running down (and I have to end this ASAP), but we have to WAIT for a car to go to Best Buy to get the adaptor to charge the battery.

Hey, but breakfast Hawaiian style was to die for! MMMMMM, spam and eggs! =0)
